Project: Electric Vehicle for Waste Collection and Minor Maintenance at the Kristýna Resort

The Kristýna Resort in Hrádek nad Nisou, with support from the Podještědí Local Action Group, z.s., has invested in modernizing its operations and improving services for visitors.
As part of the project, a SELVO S2 DCH electric utility vehicle was purchased, which will be used primarily for waste collection and minor maintenance at the Kristýna resort. The resort is one of the most popular recreational destinations in the entire region, where visitors spend their free time in cabins, RVs, and tents, and enjoy swimming in Lake Kristýna during the summer season.
The new electric vehicle brings several significant benefits to operations. Above all, it enables quiet and eco-friendly operation with zero emissions, which is essential in a recreational setting to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for visitors. Thanks to its design featuring a cargo bed, it also significantly streamlines maintenance work by allowing larger amounts of waste to be hauled away at once, thereby reducing the need for frequent trips within the resort.
The project contributes to improving cleanliness and the overall comfort of visitors to the Kristýna resort while also supporting a modern and sustainable approach to operating recreational services in the region.
The project was supported under the SP SZP 2023–2027 program framework through the Podještědí Local Action Group (MAS Podještědí, z.s.), which has long supported regional development and the improvement of quality of life in rural areas.
